About This Event
Learn How Crucial These Factors Are for Patient Management with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA):
Early Detection. Early Treatment.
Description:
Traditional tests for Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) primarily detect the autoantibodies rheumatoid factor and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (CCP). However, these tests do not identify all patients, particularly in the early stages when prompt intervention can prevent the progression to more severe disease.
Date: Thursday, 27th June
Time: 5.00 pm (IST)
Join Sebia for an insightful session where they will explore:
- The role of citrullination in RA
- The evolution of anti-CCP assays
- The ongoing search for antibodies to individual citrullinated proteins that may complement anti-CCP in the diagnosis and management of RA
Additionally, Sebia will highlight the utility of antibodies to the mutated version of citrullinated vimentin in enhancing early detection and treatment strategies.
Speaker:
Holger Bang, PhD
Senior Scientific Advisor, Sebia
