EPICheck

Nucleix has launched to the market a non-invasive test for bladder cancer, that allows urologists to better monitor patients. The assay is based on the analysis of 15 DNA methylation biomarkers for the detection of bladder cancer, reducing the need for invasive procedures. FL-DNA

Diatech Pharmacogenetics has produced the first and only CE-IVD FL-DNA analysis test for colorectal cancer detection. This non-invasive assay, allows the quantitative determination of DNA fragments with dimensions >200bp present in faeces. This quantitative analysis of DNA extracted from faeces, in association with the FOBT test, represents a useful tool to improve early diagnosis of CRC.

HPV Testing

Copan, a global leader of collection and transport systems, have simplified diagnostic tests to allow for testing to be performed outside the traditional laboratory setting. The FLOQswabs used for self-sampling programmes, enable vaginal self-collection in the privacy of one’s own home.

PCR

EasyPGX panels are real time PCR based oncology kits, to detect, KRAS, NRAS, BRAF, EGFR, ALK, ROS1, RET and MET involved in many tumours, as well as DPYD and UGAT1A1 variants associated with the toxicity of certain treatments. The kits can be used with cfDNA, fresh, frozen, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue and plasma, with only 10 minutes hands on time, and a 3 hour turnaround.

NGS

Myriapod permits, with only one DNA test, to identify all SNPs which could give an adverse response to the drugs normally used for specific neoplastic pathology treatment. The system is CE- IVD marked, with more than 250 targets in at least 80 genes. Analysis can be performed from blood samples, fresh, frozen and FFTP tissues. Assays are flexible and can be used on both Illumina and Ion Torrent platforms.
