Protocol
Cell experiment [1]:
Cell linesMouse breast cancer 4T1 cells
Preparation methodThe solubility of this compound in DMSO is limited. General tips for obtaining a higher concentration: Please warm the tube at 37 °C for 10 minutes and/or shake it in the ultrasonic bath for a while. Stock solution can be stored below – 20 °C for several months.
Reacting condition3.125, 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50 and 100 µM; 24, 48 and 72 hrs
ApplicationsAccording to the results of the MTT assay, Chloroquine Diphosphate dose- and time-dependently inhibited proliferation of 4T1 cells.
Animal experiment [1]:
Animal models4T1 tumor-bearing BALB/c mice
Dosage form25 and 50 mg/kg; i.p.; q.d., for 28 days
ApplicationsChloroquine Diphosphate treatment at the doses of 25 and 50 mg/kg significantly reduced the rates of primary tumor growth. In addition, 30% and 60% of mice in the 25 and 50 mg/kg Chloroquine Diphosphate-treated groups still survived on 61st day.
Other notesPlease test the solubility of all compounds indoor, and the actual solubility may slightly differ with the theoretical value. This is caused by an experimental system error and it is normal.
