Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a glycoprotein hormone produced by the developing placenta shortly after fertilization. In normal pregnancy, HCG can be detected in both urine and serum as early as 7-10 days after conception.
Sensitivity and Cross-Reactivity The hCG Pregnancy Rapid Test Cassette detects hCG at a concentration of 25mIU/ml or greater. The test has been standardized to the W.H.O. International Standard.
The ALLTEST™ hCG kits have an expiry of 3 years, so expiration before consumption is highly unlikely when used in a routine lab.
