Solutions Without Compromise
A long-standing pharmaceutical manufacturing customer needed to replace several biological safety cabinets in 2022. The task quickly revealed major logistical barriers:
This approach would have been costly, disruptive, time-consuming, and risked compromising cleanroom integrity.
Despite the challenges, MSC believed a better solution was possible. Working with our manufacturing partner, Faster srl, we explored an alternative delivery strategy involving:
However, we needed to demonstrate that this solution would genuinely work before committing to delivery.
To give the customer full confidence, our Deputy Clean Air Service Manager, Lee, developed a creative and practical solution:
This model allowed us to physically simulate the full delivery path through the customer’s building and into the clean rooms, turning theory into visible, testable proof.
The result? Confidence and significant cost savings from the customer, successful delivery without structural work and preservation of cleanroom conditions. Our engineers assembled several more complex cabinets on site, passing all validation and QC tests with flying colours.
This project showcased not just our technical expertise, but also our commitment to creative thinking, teamwork and above all, making things work for the customer.
